Let's try this again...

Hi, So it's been roughly ten months since I last posted, but I feel like the craziness has passed (for the most part) and I can try and start this up again. Lots of things have changed, well, first off Aiden was born...May 18, 2009...He is now a VERY active almost ten month old. He is clapping, babbling, and drinking from a straw. Crawling is his main means of transportation (besides mommies arms of course!), he enjoys shredding any piece of paper that he can get his hands on (and might I add that he's very efficient with his shredding techniques), he loves to flip through pages of books and be read to, he enjoys feeding himself, and in my opinion the cutest thing of all is his ability of giving high fives. He is the light of my life and I'm not quite sure what I would do without him now that he's here. So, that's a quick synopsis of what you missed over the past ten months, now on to this past weekend. We had a long weekend, it started Thursday evening...(yay!) so Friday was a "get all your chores done day, so you can play on Saturday" day. So Friday was pretty boring, but Saturday we woke up and decided since we had nothing better to do we would go to the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Raleigh. After showing up 30 minutes late because we couldn't find anywhere to legally park we found a good spot to watch the parade. At first Aiden didn't have a clue as to what was going on, but once the marching bands made it past us he couldn't take his eyes off the people. He loved all of the people who were screaming and tooting their horns. The old men in the tiny semi trucks did a cool little thing right in front of us and they really captured his attention! He also got really close to petting a horse! All in all he had a great time, and it was worth the annoying streets of downtown. The weather was great so we didn't stop our fun their, we went home and grabbed a quick lunch and then headed straight to Shelley Lake to play on the playground. He loved the swings and was laughing and talking the whole time. He also liked when mommy got brave and went down the slide with him on her lap. He looked so cute with his hair flying up in the air! Then we did a little shopping at our second home Target (=D) and then went to meet Aiden's Auntie G, her friends, and his Grandma for dinner at Red Lobster in honor of Geena's (Auntie G) 14th birthday. He was really good and eat a decent amount of the cheese biscuits, and some potato and rice.

All in all we had a really great day!

At Red Lobster, he was holding the crab leg really nicely and then when I
took the picture, this is what he looked like! You get the point though!
